About me

Hi there! I'm Jasmine, an aerospace engineering major from the University of Toronto (yes, I literally know rocket science!). In my free time I like to play soccer and explore the outdoors via treks and hikes whenever weather allows. I am a cat person, and a proud mom of one feline.

After starting my freelance journey in front-end web development on Shopify sites, I'm now building tailor-made web designs specific to each client's budget and requirements. My curiousity and growth mindset has led me to acquire a wide set of skills. The projects that I work on can usually be categorized in one of the following:

Shopify Solutions: Designing solutions for Shopify clients using purely front-end skills and Liquid templating (for example, implementing a bundle builder without an app)
WordPress Customization: Implementing layouts for custom-designed WordPress sites, using either the built-in WordPress page builder or plugins such as Elementor
Individual & Company Portfolio Setup: Building a portfolio site (kind of like this one!) for local small businesses using Astro, React, Tailwind CSS, and linking it to a CMS so they can self-manage their site in the future.
Custom Web Applications: Building RESTful APIs for using NodeJS, React, MongoDB
